Abstract
The article discusses the features of translating instructions and operating manuals from English into Russian. Instructions and operating manuals are one of the most common types of technical texts that require high-quality, accurate translation from English into Russian. In this regard, the concepts of instructions and operating manuals, technical translationare defined. The main types of translation transformations that are used in the translation of this type of documents are distinguished.
