This article examines the features of traffic light regulation in Uzbekistan. It is shown that when solving the problems of traffic organization, the presence of a traffic light signal at an intersection should ensure adequate service for road users. Such indicators determine the time required to pass this intersection as the level of safety, which should minimize the likelihood of an accident.

Abstract

The article proposes a formed method for assessing the efficiency of passenger transport systems based on the integration of fuzzy logic with a multicriteria decision-making system. Addressing the limitations of traditional approaches in handling subjective and uncertain data, we propose a framework that synthesises economic, operational, social, environmental and safety criteria. The methodology employs Gaussian fuzzy membership functions and a rule-based inference system to quantify efficiency, enabling dynamic optimisation of transport routes. This approach provides transport operators with a scalable tool to improve service quality, sustainability and passenger satisfaction in urban mobility systems.

Abstract

The increasing number of electric vehicles necessitates effective planning of charging infrastructure that ensures even distribution of stations and prevents network overload. Traditional methods for placing charging stations often fail to account for dynamic changes in demand, leading to inefficient resource utilization. This paper explores the use of machine learning algorithms to optimize the placement of charging stations by considering electric vehicle density, traffic flows, grid availability, and seasonal demand fluctuations. Implementing machine learning algorithms not only enhances the economic efficiency of charging stations but also enables the creation of an adaptive management system for charging infrastructure capable of responding to real-time changes.

Abstract

This article provides a systems analysis of the problems of managing groups of autonomous vehicles (AVS) in an industrial environment. Key technological challenges are identified. The goal of the study is to develop a decentralized algorithm based on swarm intelligence. Four key tasks are defined: from analyzing existing methods to validating them in a simulator. Particular attention is paid to the evaluation criteria: replanning time ≤50 ms, positioning accuracy ≤0.1 m. The article contains a detailed analysis of three fundamental swarm intelligence algorithms in terms of their applicability to AV tasks. Calculation formulas for each method (for example, speed update in PSO) and a comparative table for 5 criteria, including scalability and resistance to interference are provided. It is revealed that none of the algorithms meets all the requirements, which justifies the need for a hybrid approach. The article proposes specific modifications of the basic algorithms for industrial applications. The architecture of the hybrid solution is developed. Test plans with metrics are provided: response time, accuracy, energy consumption. General conclusion: A systematic approach to the adaptation of swarm algorithms will help solve key problems of industrial enterprises in the field of autonomous transport systems management.

Abstract

The design standards for pollutant content in untreated municipal wastewater used in the design of wastewater treatment facilities have changed significantly over the past 20 years. The changes show both an increase in the specific content of pollutants in the wastewater of a conventional resident and a decrease in them with a multiple reduction in the standard for water use for non-production needs.

Abstract

The phosphorus of phosphates in urban untreated wastewater is a marker indicator. The technology and depth of wastewater treatment depends on the temperature. Amendment No. 2 to CR 32.13330.2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Code of Regulations or CR) provides for a 1.5-fold reduction in the specific indicator per person per day for phosphate phosphorus released into wastewater and the acceptance of the temperature of the source wastewater according to the regulatory data of the Code of Regulations (CR). The analysis of the quantity and quality of untreated urban wastewater database of six urban sewerage facilities in the Murmansk region over 20 years has been performed. It is shown that the flow rates, phosphorus phosphate concentrations, and wastewater temperature in the region differ from those established by technical standards. For thisreason, designing wastewater treatment plants according to the standards of the CR will be based on outdated source data, and, consequently, will not lead to the achievement of design indicators.

Abstract

This paper presents a mathematical model of a region’s socio-ecologicaleconomic system operating within the framework of the circular economy. The model captures the interactions among seven key sectors of the Luhansk People's Republic economy—coal, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, chemical industry, agriculture, waste recycling, and energy—and their impact on the social and environmental subsystems. The model is based on systems of equations that describe resource and waste flows, environmental effects, and the social contribution of industries. Sector parameters and an integrated regional performance indicator are introduced. The study provides the foundation for implementing a computer-based model and conducting scenario analysis of sustainable regional development based on circular economy principles.
